Holiday bible club names ideas

I saw that someone was looking for a name for a holiday bible club, and I thought what a splendid idea for a post, and perhaps one that people would like to comment on.  Here’s a few ideas to get your juices flowing plus some ideas of my own.

Just do what the name of your package is! Scripture Union’s holiday bible club packages, and BRF holiday clubs have their own theme names.  There are no copyright restrictions on these provided that they are used in line with the intention of the materials.

  • Use the name of one of the kids favourite TV programs
  • Get the kids in the schools to come up with a name
  • Take the initials from your church name.  So if it were St Blogs, Accrington you could have SBA
  • Choose the last three digits of the church phone number (732 club?)
  • It still sounds cool in 2010, but watch out in 2011!  Put an i infront.   Then come up with something which goes with it.  So iClub for example.
  • You could use a colon.  Funky:club
  • First name of the key character if there is an on going play
  • Or X’s adventures in…

Here’s a short list for you.

Bannana

X:it

X:act

If you are still running on dry, find two separate words.  For the two words brainstorm as many associated words as you can.  Push two of the associated words together, or a section of each one.
